The book Treasure Island is a very good and exciting book. It is about a boy named Jim Hawkins and his mother. They own The Admiral Benbow Inn, a hotel close to the sea. An old sea captain comes to the Inn and stays for many months having only a trunk full of something. One day a blind man came to the Inn and gave the captain “the black spot”. More visitors came at ten o’clock but the captain had already died of a stroke. Then in the dead captain’s trunk, he found what the visitors were looking for, the map to Treasure Island.

In the book, Treasure Island, Jim takes care of his mother a lot and it seemed like he was the leader. He was very loving and caring towards his mother. I have done the same towards my family the best I could. I have taken care of my mother, father, and sister when it was needed. I feel that I can relate to Jim in this way.

I liked this book because there was non-stop action. When there wasn’t action, the author was making suspense so that you just had to keep on reading. I also liked the vocabulary in the book. My favorite part of the book is when the crew arrives on Treasure Island. This is my favorite part because there is so much suspense. It makes you want to keep on reading.

I would recommend this book to anyone. It has action, suspense, a good plot, and a good ending, but I can’t tell you that. I recommend this book to any type of person who likes to read. In other words this book is really suitable for everyone. I hope that this book review helped you pick a book to read.
